Hi All
I was a member of the club a few years back and will be rejoing this week. I am currently in the "bolt back togeather" stage of a three year build on my 1970 Capri. Hopefully I will be back on the road with it around December/January.
Looking forward to catching up with a few of the old members and meeting the new ones.
I will try and get a few shots of the capri on here at a few different stages.
Regards
Nathan

Hi Nathan
Just got in from cuting a tree down, got your email. I can see by this you got your log on sorted. Are you coming to the meeting Wednesday? or would you like me to send out a m/ship form? Just email me your address if you need one. Good to hear from you again sounds like you've been busy with the Capri and homelife.

Hi All
Hopefully my attempt to upload photos has worked.
These are just a couple of shots of the car at the blasters, the engine and the paint work that was finished last week.
Regards
Nathan

Hi Phill
Its a Ford SVO Boss block that has been bored and stroked out to 360 cubes. Top end is Trick flow heads, victor snr manifold and crane gear, bottom end is forged Eagle crank & rods and Je forged pistons. Made just under 600hp on a mild tune.
The only concern is that I have not tubed the rear end so traction will be an issue. Just have to wait and see how it all goes.

You could run Mickey Thompson E/T Street tyres on the road...that will help a bit

That will be the first stop for sure. Have re-done the rear end with ajustable top arms and re-set springs so I can have a play with that as well.

Hi Nathan - I have sent you a pm for a contact in our club who is also a V8 Capri enthusiast too, but not necessarily on the forum.

Looks like an awesome project. Maybe you can start a thread in the members rides area?!

Hi Mark
Thanks for the Pm. I will certainly give him a shout and say G,Day.
Are you the same Mark with the white v6 capri. Sorry if it seems like a dumb question I have lost touch with most of the members.
