New member from California. I've been to Oz 4 times and my best mate lives in the Sydney area. I own 2 classic Fords, a 1959 Ranchero and a 1973 Pinto wagon. The Ranchero is a long way off from completion but the Pinto should be complete by end of August. I'm running a 2.0 with EFI from the UK and a t3/t4 turbo. The engine will be utilizing a Megasquirt stand alone engine management system. The stock 2.0 had about 90 HP and with the improvements I hope to cross the 300HP barrier. Aside from the cars I am also starting the immigration process to get moved to Australia. The goal is to start up a custom car fabrication shop. Anyway, enough of my rambling, just wanted to introduce myself and say G'day!

Hi Rob, I seen Rancheros and Pintos but I don't think many members would have seen them, especially Pintos. As Bacca typed some photos of the Pinto wagon and the motor as they are totaly different to what we know as a Pinto motor would be great.

Thanks Guys, I got loads of pics from when I bought her and all through the build. I'll post a couple here, but is there a projects forum? I didn't see one.

This is how she looked after 25 years of storage. The original owner passed away and I bought the Pinto from the Estate.

The stock engine was a 2.0L A/T. The block had rusted out from sitting for so long.
