What tyres are you guys fitting?
 
Generally for road use, a Cortina will be at its fitting with the original equipment standard tyres that Pirelli are making again for you guys.

and 165R13 for later cars, this is an absolute bargain currently (and they are the best road tyre for these later Cortina)

today most people want a fatter tyre, and to be fair loads of Cortina did leave the factory with a more sporty set up, but sticking with the correct kind of carcass structure that you get with the Cinturato CN36 original tyre will make your car handle at its best and make it the most enjoyable for road use.

But you dont want anything fatter on a Cortina, and you dont want a modern tyre on a Cortina.
