Ford CVH with a twist

Something for the long run project, if i can make it happen. Because a lot of money involved. Based on a 1600 cc CVH Ford engine that gets a 1400cc reworked EFI head on with ITB's. I ported and modified the 1400 head myself. I made the flanges for the intake and the complete part by hand, no cnc. I want to build some adjustable air velocitystacks. Harland Sharp roller rockers, Ferrea valves, titanium spring retainers. All flowed and mashined by Post & Dros who do racing engines in Netherlands. Running with a Kent cv28 cam ( oval hotrod profile 4-8000 rpm ) Let pictures speak for themself

    Yes i did. Only a small lathe and columndrilling machine i have, rest is a bunch of handsaws and good set of file

    That is some great skills there, lots of patience as well.
    Did you get any warpage from Tig welding ?

    If you meant the intake manifold. Not much, 1,2 mm over the length if you know how to weld and secure your object. Then flat surface by hand with large coarse file going to finer. Then after with sandpaper on solid block to 120 grid paper.
    Many hours spended.

    The work i do may be overboard, but rather spend my own time and knowledge in it, then have it like hundreds of € spend to someone who can do machining the job. Let me tell you, they are getting thin on the ground
