Mk1 GT Cortina Front Strut Inserts

Happy New Year everyone. I'm chasing a pair of the shorter mcpherson strut inserts for a Mk1 GT Cortina [for a 2000e Corsair] Would anyone have any suggestions where to look? Thanks muchly.

    Not much available unfortunately, these guys from the old Mk1 Cortina forum would be the best bet for info or a work around.

    From memory people use a Datsun insert with a few shims to fix the difference in length (which isn't that much anyway) Mine had a newish pair of Pedders inserts already fitted so there is a work around to be had.

    Hey mate, local bloke in adl does alot of cortina stuff and most likely point you in the right direction. Maybe best to ask for his contact via instagram.

    His mk2 is damn nice and shows great quality to his work
