Just a sneak peek of my next project I'm about to start , a 1972 Escort coup.

It looks bad but it's rather solid ... Plans will be to restore the shell to the best I can with some non intrusive mods like a notched bulkhead and widened tunnel to accept a RX-8 gearbox etc. As the shell will be sold as a roller, I expect it to end it's life on the track so there will be seam welding, gussets, tramp bar brackets and panhard bracket all welded in . So it'll be a good starting point for fast road or weekend racer...

A bag of door blades from UK arrived, this is about the last piece to the van I need to get to complete the project
And installed with new clips and inner brush felts as factory

Hey Marty, I need some of this gear for a van too; where'd you purchase from? Got any part numbers?
Thanks.

WTB: Recaro seat - any condition considered

she came out really nice Marty!

The rims suit it as well, nearly as good as some silver minilights.  with just a bit of chrome and a perfect fit.
^^ Looks like a previous resto didn't make the bend? New sheets on the back wall :)

Hi flighter
All I did was check eBay UK for them as they're all from the same manufacturer it's who can supply and post cheapest . Part is the same as mk1 Escort coup whether it's mk1 van or mk2 van

Cheers Deano !
Yeah I'm not sure the brand of wheel they are but are gloss black 6 spoke with polished rim 15x6.5 . I think the colors work well with each other on the van..
Those sheets of corro cover a botched door at the rear of the gazebo ... Took me a few looks to understand what you meant haha
