Ok good news the engine was dropped into my brothers engine bay to see if i can squeeze the starter in on the drivers side you know the steering shaft side well im rapt it will fit thanks to the cyclone engine being tall but quite thin down around the lower part under the heads. Im using a reduction starter off a late model hilux so it should have the grunt to turn this beast over.
Ok hers a photo.

Gday or Arsesore as they say in japan
Had a great time and became japanese for 2 weeks rather than look at all the temples and stuff that tourists do, ate some great food and met some lovely people.
Caught the shinkansen down to okayama then the local train to the modern kaaz factory and with broken english, sign language and gesturing we purchased a lsd centre after the obligitry coffee party we parted ways and jumped back on the bullet train to kyoto for a few saki's.
I wanted the car painted before i left but now i need to make some cash so things might slow up a tad,but here's the adaptor plate and flywheel tha Mazfix have made and they look great so its getting there bit by bit.

Hi well it took longer than i thought to paint it wow, what a big job any way its done now and im pretty happy with it. I have also finished the spoiler and have dummy fitted it,how it look?
At last i can start to assemble it so it should make quick progress and look like a race car pretty quickly, then its off to mazfix to get the sump and engine mounts done. Diff is fully assembled and ready to fit. Pedal box is also finished ready to fit so ill keep the photos coming so keep posted

Looks great. Are you going to stripe it or factory black outs or something to "race it up"?

Hi wattsy im going to get some sponsorship on it, got a couple of mates who would like to promote there businesses so it might give it a racey look.
The front spoiler is going to be a mould so i will be able to sell them for around $175.00 if there is some interest.

Fitted the diff today and tried on a wheel only to find out it needs a small spacer as the wheel centre is touching the caliper.
