Let me know how you go with pricing.

Lance does/did some nice work. He didn't do my cage but he supplied the tubing for it. From memory his prices were reasonable (speaking 2000 timeframe) and he was doing most of the cages in Adelaide then.
Cheers

well gave him a ring this morning.
for a basic full cage is around $1900 but for $2200 he can do a few more cross hatches and what not making it alot safer and stronger.
there is a waiting list, he said if i booked next week it would be around mid april before he could do it.
sounds like a decent price. :)

Looks like it should provide a decent bit of protection for you Scott.
what's the end plan for the car now? Somehow I dont think you'll fare too well sitting at the traffic lights when Mr policeman pulls up next you [:I]
I'll make an effort to come and see the car/cage in person at some stage as I'm leaning the same way - cage time.

haha yeah ill get defected for having too much side impact protection lol. The car wont be used on the roads.
Basically ive always just wanted to build a track car. Not sure of final result but id like to end up entering some competitions down the track. Cant wait for the first drive.... But no real rush as ive got the karting to keep me going.
Your welcome to come up and have a look when ever Rhys.

I have also been talking to Lance after being put onto him by Roger. I last rang him 6 weeks ago and there didn't seem to be a waiting list at that time. I am going to get him to fit my turrets and link boxes at the same time cos I have chickened out of doing them myself!!!!
