thanks for the kind words, should be looking a bit better soon. got a months wait on a set of 15x7 charcol with machined lip superlites that im hoping will set it off well.

Also on the to do list is to shorten a borg warner diff so that i can have disc rear and lsd, then make up a watts linage kit. then get out and hopefully so some motorsport such as hillclimbs and maybe a sprint.

Just a small update:

the Escort is now rolling on some 15x7inch Performance Superlites in Silver with the polished lip and 195/50R15 tyres.

Have a 3.89:1 Borg Warner diff with brakes sitting in the shed ready to be cut down, but that is off to the side becuase the car is going fuel injected.

Thanks Santa,

EFI has arrived, just sorting out some fuel pumps, and waiting on a few peices and what not and then the install will begin peice by peice so that the car spends minimal time off the road.

Cheers

hey DRS02L, i have been reading through your thread thinking the same thing. i too was going to go for 16's but the tyre prices put me off that idea. boot install of the swirl pot and pumps will be happening soon as i have aquired some pumps, then its lines and mouting of the ecu and running the wires, then its ready for some time off the road to get the engine side of the efi done and then fingers crosses. let the problems begin

Cheers
Zac
