mk2 rs mounts

Hi guys its finally time to put the engine in the rs and was wondering what engine mounts to use standard (50mm) or something else gold told with abit extra power coming out of her the 50mm mounts tend to flex?..

rear sway bar

Hi All,Has anyone got the standard rear RS sway bar fitted with lowered rear springs. Have just fitted new lowered rear springs but the sway bar doesn't line up anymore. The curve at the rear sits down on the back of the diff housing and prevents the diff bushes from sitting down on to the mounting ..

My diff moves on one side

I took some measurements which indicated that the spring pack on that side had sagged and was sitting 30mm lower on that side. Rear Leaf Springs Mk1 & Mk2 Escorts

I hear people say' to fit Mk2 springs in a Mk1, you have grind down the end of the spring to fit the smaller anchor point.'I am thinking of replacing the Mk1 front spring hanger with a Mk2 spring hanger, What are your thoughts on this and has it been done? Mk1 Escort Smiths fuel gauge

I've got an old Smiths fuel gauge that I bought off ebay in my mk1. Rim and tyre sizes for my mk2 RS ????

Hi guys I've gota mk2 RS. It's lowered a bit, uprated suspension etc. currently running 7x13 rims tyres etc. I'm wanting to know if I can fit 7x15 rims et35 on it? Looking at going for low profile tyres too, (how low can I go????) also how wide? Is 225 too wide? Sorry for what may seem like a basic ..
