Hey mate, i have both the coolant nipple and the drain plug still in my gen 2 block. Not sure why your mates is different...

I just went to have a look at a mates engine that is out of the car, looks like its a piece pressed into the block, maybe the engine builder damaged it and tapped out the hole with a thread.. nevermind ill make something to fit. Still need the coolant drain plug tho.

Hi all, just chasing a couple of 3sgte parts, a coolant drain plug (the one the screws in to the block) and the nipple that also srews into the block just near it for a coolant water pipe. See this pic for reference to the bit that im chasing, you can see the hose connected to it circled in red.
