Re the headlights- check/clean the contacts in the relay (little black box in the passenger-side corner of the frunk, up towards the windscreen). A piece of 'rough' paper will usually do the job. If they go up, but not down, it's unlikely to be the drive motor.

**Deposit down on a new car. Rego till 19th Dec, keen to sell before expiry and buyer will need to organize himself. Will get a pink slip easily. Price will be reduced to $7k to reflect this. Car is now in workshop waiting for an alternator replacement. Alternator ordered and on the way to Syd. AW1100 plate will come with the car.
