Hey everyone

having a strange issue in my '90 N/A jdm import

The other day I was driving home from work, gave it a bootful up to 5-6000 rpm and then when I came to stop at the next set of lights, my idle had risen to about 2800

I got the car home, reset the ECU and then the problem went away
Drove the car yesterday though, got about 4 mins down the road, and then the issue came back again. Reset ecu again and it went away

This has really baffled me, has anyone got any ideas?? :S

I've heard that it could be the idle speed control valve, is there any way to disable this temporarily so that I can diagnose if it is the cause of the problem?
