ABS or Non-ABS?

I believe the outlet pipes are all on the LH side for RH drive ABS cars like ADM or JDM cars
Pic shows a '92 Supra ABS MC fitted to my'90 model ADM SW20 using a '97 model booster

Looks like the pipes might be on the RH side for non-ABS RHD cars - catalog pics seem to suggest that.

Non ABS MC pipes might be on the LH side for LHD cars(USDM)
Strange that according to the catalog the ABS USDM MC's are on the RH side.
Bloody confusing hey?? I've looke at countless images but I think they are generic.

Are the outlet ports to the calipers on the correct side for the pipes with the 1" cylinders? Images show outlets facing the passenger side where as the factory cylinder faces the drivers side.

Has anyone had issues with re locating the factory pipes to suit?

Re: (Reddtarga)

Eric
I'm Running the 1 inch master and late model booster with the BBK

Mine goes from resonably soft to firm and very bitey. havent had a chance to bed them in fully but will report back next week on how its feeling

I hope you also fitted a check valve on your intake manifold if you replaced an early model booster, since later boosters have no check valve mounted on them like the early boosters.
Re: (Reddtarga)

For 1" bore MC replacements, apart from 4 runner, also check out Landcruiser FZJ80 1992-1994
A '92 Supra MC also works as well.

Something like this:
NON ABS
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Brake-Master-Cylinder-92-94-NO-ABS-Landcruiser-FJ80-FZJ80-HZJ80-HDJ80-80-Series-/400358988213?fits=Model%3ALand+Cruiser

ABS
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/131361420050?clk_rvr_id=801735601389&crlp=1_262691&mt_id=641&mid=428969&sdc_id=1427072768z943578z53073b0a13477z&fitem=131361420050&linkin_id=8080378&kw=%7Bquery%7D&crdt=0&sortbid=16

Important!!
Toyota 4 bolt MC's are generally interchangeable, but pay attention to whether you have ABS or not.
What's the difference?
Mainly the pipe connections, but although I don't know for sure I suspect the push rod depth may also be different.

Re: (Eric)

I'm Running the 1 inch master and late model booster with the BBK

Mine goes from resonably soft to firm and very bitey. havent had a chance to bed them in fully but will report back next week on how its feeling
Re: (5SGTE)

Jb1811 is the number for an abs model.
