IMHO there is no need for anything bigger for a street car. The stock calipers are awesome provided they are in good condition and you have pads of the right heat range for the type of driving you do.
These kits are highly recommended and are the cheapest MR2 brake upgrade that works properly.

Sent from my Nokia 9 using Tapatalk

Re: SW20 Big brake kits, 3 options to suit everyone (kameleon)

All kits now back in stock.

Re: SW20 Big brake kits, 3 options to suit everyone (kameleon)

A very long time between posts.

Despite still selling these via our Facebook page it has been brought to our attention that due to a lack of mention here and other forums that people may not know these are still available.

Brake kits are still available (all in stock besides the rear kit which will be available in 4 weeks) to purchase. For those wanting to use the 314mm rear kit for fitment under 16" wheels we have found Dixcel to be able supply discs at a decent price along with these DBA's (no longer manufactured by DBA on a non custom basis). You can purchase the DBA discs here:- https://www.ebay.com.au/i...26f:g:Cr8AAOSweW5VJICx

Re: SW20 Big brake kits, 3 options to suit everyone (kameleon)

Due to excess stock the Supra 324mm front BBK is on sale for the next few weeks or until excess stock has sold.

Normal pricing is $255.00 + shipping

***On sale pricing $220.00 delivered anywhere in Australia***

Grab a bargain
Re: SW20 Big brake kits, 3 options to suit everyone (kameleon)

Danti,

Glad it went well for you.

Tom,

Yes no problem with those.

Re: SW20 Big brake kits, 3 options to suit everyone (TomsMR2)

Do we know if the R32 fronts will clear 17" RPF1's ?
Thanks

Re: SW20 Big brake kits, 3 options to suit everyone (Danti)

Great package did really well at Wakefield I'm 38C it stopped every time with project MU HC800 front and QFM rear pads with no fade at all.
Thanks kameleon

Re: SW20 Big brake kits, 3 options to suit everyone (kameleon)

Thats great news that the RX7 kit has worked out for you with the 16" GTR wheels.

I am sure you will have a better time when you upgrade your booster with the bias, but remember the RX7 kit is smaller than the RX8 kit that would not fit under your wheels and this means the bias is more to the front.

Re: SW20 Big brake kits, 3 options to suit everyone (Danti)

That's correct. I just never looked for the instruction because here on the forum there was never mentioned that we need material removed to make it fit. I just assumed it's just bold them on. All good everything is fitted including rx7 rear kit with 22v calipers. The only problem I have is locking up . Trying to learn the new setup for now with out bias.
But when there is no lock up the kit works very well. Also I can confirm Rx7 rotors with 22v calipers do clear with 16" GTR wheels.

Re: SW20 Big brake kits, 3 options to suit everyone (kameleon)

Hi Danti,

As i mentioned to you last night with your PM all modifications are outlined in the instructions supplied with the kit you purchased.
SW20 Big brake kits, 3 options to suit everyone (Danti)

For the guys that done the front Nissan kit with r32 gtr wheels, did you have to modify the Nissan calipers to make them fit.
