I use Toyota camry alternators from the wrecker, direct fit for the 4age.

Alternator parts ( brushes, regulator, diode packs, what have you) for the N/A ADM cars are all readily available. It's only the import SC's that are like rocking horse doodoo. Talk to your local auto sparky and see what they can offer. Failing that, I see Hazza' in SA - Bringlis is where? Maybe I can help out with a rebuild . . .

is your alternators actually totaly dead? silly question but have you tried replacing the brushes or regulator inside them? sometimes they can be fixed easy as. mine was haveing charging issues i replaced the brushes cleaned her up inside resoldered some of the main coil connections that were starting to crack and she has been sweet as for a few years now.

Hey guys as title states I'm in need of an alternator for the beast. 1.6L N/A apparently two different types still :S but it is Australian and it is NOT supercharged. :)
price and availability please
