MK2 MR2 SW20 Electrical stall issues (rdenton)

So had a massive downpour in Melbourne last night.

Car seemed ok, drove about 10km when the electrical fault light appeared on the dash and the car shut down.
Had a quick look under the hood and there's a ton of water / dirt from the rain last night.

When I start the car, it starts fine and turns over once, and then the electrical fault light appears straight away and the cars turns back off.

I'm suspecting something has shorted out and the ECU is turning the car off.

Any ideas of exerpeiences?
