I just got home, stuck around to help get Mark's car sorted. Took it for a spin and his clutch issue is now non-existant. Woot. He had a few dramas with his car. Could never get the clutch to disengage so decided it was about time to pull the transmission to see what was going on. Removed the slave cylinder and a heap of fluid came out from behind the boot, uh hu. Decided we'd remove the transmission anyway to confirm everything was AOK with the clutch. It wasn't. ALOT of oil had made its way into the bellhousing (and subsequently all over the clutch) due to a rather ordinary sealing job around the ARP modification on the oil pan. Lee also picked up that the custom flywheel Mark had had machined didn't have a step on it which it should have. Got the flywheel ground as required and the friction material replaced and she was good to roll again.

Mark decided he'd do a number of other tasks at the same time (fit Moroso oil pan, retorque ARP head studs, fit whiteline rear swaybar) and Lee was kind enough to let him use some of his shop space for a couple of days to accomplish this. Anyway mate, before I left we got Marks car and that Prelude sorted out and moved and popped your car into the shop ready to go.

Anyway, was nice to meet you Nathaniel, I am sure Lee will look after you mate!

RE: Black SW20 (Nathaniel)

Well I just dropped the 2 @ Thomas 4 parts to get a clutch, while I was there had the pleasure to meet james/totenkopf, lee came across as a awesome bloke, can't wait to have it back.

Ps iPhones suck to type on

RE: Black SW20 (Nathaniel)

Awesome thanks for the history :) And yes i will take care of it ;)

Well have decided to get the clutch done asap, will be organising to get that done when im back in vegas on monday. I remember it has a titanium tipped cannon muffler too. I used to talk to the owner that did most of the modifications, his name was Steve O if I remember correctly. My friends at BEL Garage swapped the motor after it blew, simply because Steve decided to play with the actuator so it overboosted (resulting in a bang). That Border kit (copy) was one of the first in the country, came all the way from the States. If I remember correctly, they fudged up his order & sent 2 side skirts for the same side [88] Anyway, take care of it.
