I just wanted to say a big thanks to Eric for organising the Downshift day, and also to commend everyone who took their cars and made it the success it was. The pictures look great, particularly Spyder's Spyder all polished and shined up. People who knew little about the MR2 couldn't help being impressed by the lineup, and it's displays like these that demonstrate that you don't have to be boring and drive a Skyline like everyone else does." />

I am sorry that I wasn't able to make it on Sunday, but everyone will be pleased to hear that after what happened on the Night Cruise I have sworn off the drinking. Hopefully this means no more falling over, although I can't promise it.

Again, well done Eric and the team, and we will certainly keep supporting this type of event. On this theme check out the new thread on the upcoming All Japanese Day on the 9th of June. With another very interesting activity being planned for the end of June this means that next month is going to be busy for MR2's in Queensland.

Hi Everyone, Just a reminder to be on time as we will be leaving from the Red Rock Noodle bar at 2:15. If we leave any later we will have issues with traffic getting into the event.

I got mine from blockbuster about a year ago (and it still talks when you squeeze him) but I'm sure you can find some on eBay. May be too late now to order them though now

I guess so far the AW11 and the MRS will look good being surrounded on either side by those common SW20's Ewok's on not.............

Excellent idea Walter. I currently have a tow strap but I will gladly move to an Ewok. I will report back on finding more star wars characters. I think it's quite fitting as our cars are essentially as fast a space ships ;)

An alternative option is to all have tow straps, as I can get a fair few of these with relative ease
