This is the most commonly source of rear wheel clonking. Some dealers offer poly bushes for this, but they dont work properly as they dont have adequate articulation in all directions

The inner ends are not replaceable except as a shaft with bearing as per pictures. They are different between models. there is no after-market supply that I know of unless you swap to a complete chinese-made/ebay special track control arm
Re: Rear Arm Assemblies (Brandon)

Thanks guys, parts are now on their way :)

Re: Rear Arm Assemblies (TIPSIDUECE)

will contact road and track then, thanks mate
Re: Rear Arm Assemblies (Reddtarga)

TIPSIDUECE
would this inner tie rod be the same for the 93+ updated rear toe arms? i know the updated ones are longer but twos r us only sell the hub side

No.
Both the inner and outer rear track rods sections are totally different for pre and post '92, but both the inner sections have a press in sealed rose joint, similar to the outer rose joint in the hub, only a smaller diameter.
I think inner rose joints may be the same on early and later models, but don't quote me on that.

But I believe Road and Track may sell the correct replacement rose joints anyway.

Re: Rear Arm Assemblies (TIPSIDUECE)

would this inner tie rod be the same for the 93+ updated rear toe arms? i know the updated ones are longer but twos r us only sell the hub side
Re: Rear Arm Assemblies (dwyer125)

Thinking these are what you could be after?
http://twosrus.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22_32&products_id=808
and for the hub side,
http://twosrus.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22_32&products_id=547
Rear Arm Assemblies (Brandon)

Hey all,

You guys were a great help pointing me in the right direction to buy a part so I was hoping you could help me again.

I need to replace both of my rear arm assemblies in my 1992 SW20 - the bar which connects between the hub and the cross member. I have the part number from Toyodiy (The arm assembly here - http://www.toyodiy.com/pa..._SW20-AJMZZ_4804.html) however I can't find any online sites, here or overseas, which clearly sell them. I could probably go to my Toyota parts dealer but that will both be really expensive and take a lot of time :(

Any help with this would be great guys, thanks in advance!

- B.
