a lot of MR2s can be found in their natural habitat....track and hill climbs!

I hope they all come out for the MR2 Nationals 2013 in Hobart and have the time to join us on the 6 day tour of Tasmania afterwards.

I'm sure they're hiding somewhere - and they'll all come out at the beginning of October for the Nationals!

i spent the long weekend in tassie seeing family. but while down there i hired out a hyundai getz and did some touring of the roads. getting an idea of a return trip next year once my AW11 is restored.

driving around i went down through the tarkine. through hellyer gorge, down the pieman.

i loved the road between waratah and savage river like something you see in movies, not tight but nice continual winding smooth roads with fantastic national park scenery.

a little bit disapointed though as i did not see a single mr2 on the roads the whole time i was over there. i started in launceston and went across the north west coast.

so where are the mr2 owners in tassie?
