It's gone guys and gals. Some nice young bloke called Eric who plans to do a 2ZZ conversion so watch out for him and the Spyder in the near future. Thanks for you friendship through the club and good luck. I'll be sure to keep an eye on the forum and keep in touch.

Sad days folks. My love affair with my baby is coming to an end. She has been ditched for a younger, newer model and there is no room in the garage.

2001 MR2 Spyder 5sp SMT - First rego'd in Adelaide - I am 3rd owner.
180,000Kms
Red (3PO) with Red Leather Interior, Factory Body Kit and TRD exhaust. Comes with Black Softop and Red hardtop.
Completely Original.
Since flying to Adelaide to buy this car and driving her back to Sydney I have done the following to her.
Removed, after market alarm and duff duff speakers and amp. Replaced, parcel shelf and footwell panels with new from factory - in fact spent heaps on Toyota bits to bring the whole car back to original.
Replaced soft top with new from Soft Top Guys in USA - Not best in world for fit but 100% dry.
Had SMT GSA rebuilt in 2011 by Castle Hill Toyota. Dropped out gearbox and had it reconditioned in 2012 along with new clutch etc so any of the usual SMT issues for a 2001 have been sorted.
Full detail done every 12 months with paint protection. Always garaged. Basically, it looks like new, inside and out with the exception of a few tiny marks or dinks seen under a microscope.
Happy for any inspection. Will detail and supply roadworthy if required.
Not in a rush and not advertised elsewhere yet. Price? I don't know. Make me an offer. I know what I paid for it and have spent about $6k making it look right.
