That 5zigen one looks alright. Would do the job as well.

Those mongoose ones are what I'm looking for looks wise, but they are 2inch pipe :)

What I need is a 3inch exhaust with a muffler big enough to quieten it all down to reasonable levels.
The HKS above is 2.75in and the Kakimoto 3.2in piping.

I've been trying to find a 3in muffler the same length as these without any success. Magnaflow do make a long one but its a straight through design (Still loud). The kakimoto is baffled I believe which is good.

yeah 5zigen make a very similar one, i had it on my car when i bought it but it had seen better days. heres what they look like
shipping will not be cheap
if your cutting it up why not use a magnaflow muffler body locally and custom make the exhaust

also have you seen these.

Didn't know about the 5zigen.
I think my only option is to buy from Japan, I'm just being a tightarse and trying to find a used one instead of buying new as it will be getting cut up to fit anyway.

I have located a brand new Kakimoto for roughly $610 in Japan not including local and Int shipping and handling fee.

No longer required as I have purchased a Kakimoto.

I am looking for an old exhaust made by Kakimoto. It has 3in piping and a huge muffler that runs the width of the car between the exhaust hangers.
I'd like to adapt one to my AW11.
Anyone got one kickin around they wanna part with?
