I should have posted this earlier in the year but anyway here goes.

For the CAMS one you need:
- to be a member of a CAMS affiliated car club (Club Lotus Australia is the cheapest I think at $50 a year, ARDC is $120 but you get a free trackday, free entrance into some events at eastern creek like WTAC)
- CAMS L2S License which can be had for $80 here
- battery Triangle like this(Magnetic ones are best for a street car imo)
- AS1698 (not 100% sure if this is the right number) standard helmet. Almost all sold in Australia have this. FIA is also good.

After that you can attend all these days and enjoy getting out on the track with basically no traffic!

There is also a minimum time you must be able to do at Wakefield and Eastern Creek to enter these events, I believe it's about a 1:30 for Wakefield and a 2:30 for Eastern Creek GP
