Thanks mate, nah all I could manage was 1k off the price.

It drives more like a 10yo car than one that's 25.

I had the MTA look it over onsite with me for 2 hours and its excellent condition mechanically.

All he could find was a couple of areas with small amounts of rust that I'll treat or fix.

Congrats on the purchase. Damn shame you pick it up earlier. Would've saved a bit of coin. Oh well, happy days either way I'm sure. Hopefully you were able to squeeze a warranty into the purchase price for some piece of mind.

Hi guys

I'm thinking of picking this up on Tuesday from xtreme for 8k.

I've been looking for an mr2 for a while but I just missed it here.

I know it's a bit pricey but I went from having time to look and be picky etc to needing a car very soon.

So does anyone have an idea of this cars overall condition? Rust problems etc.

Any help would be appreciated seeing as I haven't had a chance to inspect it myself yet, I'm flying down Tuesday from Queensland.

That's a good, fair price for such a tidy, well kept SC (well, maybe a little leaning towards the buyers favor).

Pity you can't hold onto it or at least wait for the right buyer to come along. Avoid trading it in if you can!
