if not nows the time to get things right before the respray.&lt;br&gt; whatever you do please dont put some useless big a$$ chrome wheels on it, do your homework and see what fits properly then make a good decision, wheels make or break a car you want to get it right the first time.&lt;br&gt; all the best and enjoy working on the car ist very rewarding when it all comes togethere.&lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt; cheers&lt;br&gt;</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/89336</link><pubDate>Thu, 21 Feb 2013 20:18:28 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Seejays MR2 + progress photos (Seejay)</title><description> Haven't owned this baby for very long but I've got a lot of money put away to fix her up.  &lt;br&gt; She was passed down in the family, and lucky enough for me I was the one to get it!  &lt;br&gt; Right now it's not in the best condition, but that was the reason why I wanted it, to fix it up and make it one amazing car.  &lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt; Some of the problems:  &lt;br&gt; The paint work is worn out a lot, some of it is peeling while the rest is mostly faded.  &lt;br&gt; Small amount of rust right above the back number plate.  &lt;br&gt; The tint is coming off and won't last much longer, especially on the drivers side.  &lt;br&gt; Although you can't see it, the gearbox crunches on second which is due to worn sincros.  &lt;br&gt; The stereo is old and outdated, doesn't play CD's anymore  &lt;br&gt; The rims are getting old and ugly  &lt;br&gt; The drivers seat has a tear (no photos)  &lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt; &lt;img src="http://i553.photobucket.com/albums/jj394/Cjerz/20130122_134025.jpg" /&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;img src="http://i553.photobucket.com/albums/jj394/Cjerz/20130122_134009-1.jpg" /&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;img src="http://i553.photobucket.com/albums/jj394/Cjerz/20130122_133939.jpg" /&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;img src="http://i553.photobucket.com/albums/jj394/Cjerz/20130122_133923.jpg" /&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;img src="http://i553.photobucket.com/albums/jj394/Cjerz/20130122_133855.jpg" /&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;img src="http://i553.photobucket.com/albums/jj394/Cjerz/20130122_133849.jpg" /&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;img src="http://i553.photobucket.com/albums/jj394/Cjerz/20130122_133829.jpg" /&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;img src="http://i553.photobucket.com/albums/jj394/Cjerz/20130122_134107.jpg" /&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;img src="http://i553.photobucket.com/albums/jj394/Cjerz/20130122_134051.jpg" /&gt; &lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt; I have currently:  &lt;br&gt; Booked in a complete sandback and respray the same colour, which is costing approximately $2,500 for a GOOD job (family friend)  &lt;br&gt; Gotten a quote for a complete gearbox rebuild which came to around $2,850  &lt;br&gt; Booked in the removal of my old window tint, and at the same time, the installation of the octane window tint (costing approximately $500 from tint-a-car)&lt;br&gt; Ordered my own personalised number plate (which will be revealed with more recent photos)&lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt; Any comments or feedback would be great!  &lt;br&gt; Hopefully in the near future I'll have this car all fixed up and looking amazing.  &lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt; More photos to follow.  &lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt;</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/89319</link><pubDate>Thu, 21 Feb 2013 17:18:51 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
