(from the muffler below)&lt;br&gt;Not a scorcher day but I still needed the aircond running on the trip to be comfortable.&lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/88991</link><pubDate>Sat, 16 Feb 2013 19:51:19 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Under front bonnet temps vs cabin temp (WIDEMR)</title><description> Hi all,&lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt; Its been a very long time since ive driven a mr2, well more then a few meters, just have an odd question to anyone driving around on a HOT day.&lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt; How hot does it get under the front bonnet? im more&amp;nbsp;interested&amp;nbsp;in after&amp;nbsp;driving&amp;nbsp;on a hot day, not parked in the sun ect.&lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt; Im building a race car, i have a cool shirt esky i need to mount, basically an esky that you fill with ice or dry ice, has a pipe looping through it, which cools air being forced into my helmet, same as v8 supercars ect.&lt;br&gt; At this stage as im not doing any long driving so i wont be using a cool shirt, which is a underwear shirt with small pipes all over, that circulates water from the esky, so for now just helmet air. I dont get&amp;nbsp;claustrophobic, but sitting in a car, with perspex windows that cant open, no aircon, no heat shileds, no carpet, ect on a hot day, in a full suit, with a closed helmet on, rushed/stressed/adrenaline ect, man i cant breath, so ill have some cooler then outside air forced into the helmet.&lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt; The original plan was to mount it on the passenger side floor, but in front of the seat is full of plumb in fire extinguisher bottle, wiring, PDM, data loggers ect, was going to put were pass seat goes but most times i will have a pass seat in.&lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt; Inside the car will get hot,&amp;nbsp;wondering&amp;nbsp;how hot under the front bonnet gets? due to rad fans pushing heat onto radiator firewall ect.
