Thanks to Walter and Kathy for organizing the day. Thanks to Dom for joining me on the "Rally Stage".

Unfortunately I made it 40km from home and the AW11 packed it in with some form of nasty electrical failure :(

$200 later and I was home on a tow truck....

Bad news mate, RACQ Ultra Care would have been cheaper than the tow. My car's bad luck may have rubbed off on yours during Saturday.

Sounds like it would have been fun :) wasn't able to make it cause we didn't finish soon enough for me to get there from willowbank raceway. Will have to hit up some people from my other thread!

Excellent Run, great turnout for the first event of the year. Thanks everyone, (especially Dom for keeping us company on a cob-web clearing session) Photo's and hopefully video to come later.

Incidentally, thanks Craig for making the comment about mechanical incidents. The electrical gremlin turned out to be an alternator belt - which bailed out on the way home.

You are most welcome to attend.

You don't have to be a Club member but membership is only $20 a year, which is probably the cheapest Club in Queensland, and we have 10 organised Runs every 12 months plus other activities. However,there is no pressure to join, and we all aim to enjoy these cars as much as possible.

Hopefully see you there this morning.

we're working on a full Run calendar at the moment and trying to introduce some competition events so its just taking a little longer than usual.
However, the next Run will be on Sunday the 17th of March so keep a lookout for the details.
