I'm keen for a weekend track day, can't do week days. The cheaper the better so taking up with another group could work well... and happy with any track really

We made some good mates with MelbS15, they are a small but active group and I intend to invite them to our next event.
Also a few of the Honda and WRX forums had some interest, ultimately it depends how many people we need to get and how many MR2's get entries in.

^Yeh, team up with another club like ours, one that is "population challenged" (not Nissan/Evo/WRX etc) lol then we'll have not too many and the people are keen

have you guys looked at holding the event with another club to cut down the costs?
like we did for haunted hills?
im sure then you will get more people that are interested.

these days i want:-

» Timed
» Any track
» Any time
» cheap as possible
» Not like a Winton fun day with endless cars (im not paying for everyone else, just myself)

Basically cake and eat it.

For me it boils down to getting the car sorted to do it.

Not counting licencing at this stage as fees will vary depending on circuit.

Sandown on a Saturday or Sunday only because it's close to home makes it easy to get to.
If Calder is running events I'd be keen for that too but I heard they have a problem with their insurance so no events are running there???
I'd do Winton on a Saturday only or worst case a Friday.
Phillip island also the same deal Friday or Saturday but less keen as its hard to recover the car the further out it is.
Depending but i'd probably go upto $250 for an event with less cars then the usual sprint days.

Which track would you like to visit? (Phillip Island, Sandown, Winton, Calder)
Would you prefer a weekend event costing more or a weekday event costing less?
Track days are a balance of entry numbers vs. cost, how much are you prepared to spend on entry for such a day? ($100, $150, $200, $250)
