i must say the beams engine is quite nice to drive, very smooth and Revs quiet nicely. but i still love my Turbo.
just wait till you drive something which is boosted more than my measly 12 psi thats when the fun starts.
i will def look into that shifter thing, mine feels ancient compared to yours

Sif I'm falling to the darkside *quickly hides the turbo parts*
But yes it was an awesome experience driving turbo for the first time, Personally I cannot really compare to NA not because of the power difference but the power delivery and, may I shamelessly admit the glorious sound of spool + BOV.
With the shifting feel maybe have a look at Ian's articles on it. It didn't help much for my car because mine was already excellent condition.

was good to meet veryone today, had fun the run wasa bit busy with all the cyclist etc, but that was expected of beach road on a sunday afternoon.
i learnt that my brakes may be OK afterall (which means hyundai brakes are better than the SW20 lol), and may have converted a certain member who drives an N/A to the Darkside.

Yep!! OK if you want to enter the Air museum, you'll have to pay that direct.

Otherwise no charge to come on the cruise.

Once I know how many and who is coming I can finalise the route for the late morning cruise, at this stage, it will be the full length of Beach Road, beginning at Mordialloc ending at North Road. There ya' go Reddtarga ...... you're half way home!!!!!! " />

This event is on next Sunday, Feb 24 th
This time we decided to do something different to what we normally organize and put the main destination first instead of last, and all details are in the first post.

Event schedule:
9.00am - Breakfast
10.00am - Museum tour.
11.00am - Cruise
The cruise after the museum tour will take approx one hour.

Don't forget that non-club member MR2 owners are also invited to join us, either for the museum or the cruise.

Where are you planning to go with the cruise? I might meet you after the museum tour depending on how early I can get up.

Kevin is organizing the run and he told me he has a couple of routes in mind that take about an hour.
However he is away on Norfolk Island for about a week, so we'll have to wait till he gets back to know all the details.

might be a good time to do the GOR with summer getting to the end.
i also have found out some nice roads (accidentally) on the way to philip island which im happy to look into with detail if you guys need me to.
