Spewin $6 is much cheaper than $150!

I'm getting David to chase up the shipping, USPS is playing silly buggers and the Items I have ordered are still in America. So much for getting rear tie rods and an alignment done before the weekend.

It's a shame I just saw this now I have a friend who is coming over from America and I'm planning on ordering some things from twosrus and he will bring them with him so shipping goes from $40 down to like $6 for what I was getting. But he obviously can't carry too much and he isn't stopping here in Brisbane first so he would be carrying it around for a couple weeks.

I've already placed the order sorry, do you want me to see if the order hasn't shipped yet and an extra item can be added?

For reference your parts would have been $183.76 total +domestic shipping, saving $28.64 on US shipping if you bought the item solo. It's probably not worth it unless there are a few intersate buyers or you tagging along with an order buying large heavy items.

There were better economies of scale on my last order as I purchased some springs and most others had smaller items.

If i wanted this how much will it cost (product + shipping)? Not sure if it will be the same me buying straight from tworus as you will also need to ship to Sydney.

Parts have been ordered, final list as per the spreadsheet. I have gone with the global express shipping as I want to get the rear tie rods on + wheel alignment before SlideWize, so you can knock $40 off the total price for the bushes Aaron.

I haven't ordered anything yet, my Adub's ECU shat itself again on Friday on the way to work. The car's back up and running again and didn't cost me anything so I'll sort out the TwosRus order tomorrow.

As per the thread title, I'm planning to put in a TwosRus order this week for around $400 in parts + $150 in shipping. Does anyone else need a few things from TwosRus so we can all save a bit of the shipping cost (up to around $400 to keep under the $900 duty threshold)? Alternatively can anyone lend me the use of a shipping account which will do a better price than USPS 15 lbs, 12 oz @ $144?

Any group buy / sharing of postage will be handled transparently via a Google Docs spreadsheet. Shipping % split will be calculated by getting a quote from TwosRus for each group of items compared to the total, such that someone ordering a clutch/flywheel doesn't push up the price unfairly for others. The following thread in the old forum details a previous TwosRus group buy I organised.
