So your first aw with the 3s-gte is up for sale again right? What was it built with any other mods to that one. Man 0-100 in 4 something secs is pretty damn sexy
Re:My Collection: MK1, MK1.5, SW20, ZZW30 (obeythepeople)

I Was Wondering What Size That Roof Mounted intercooler Was, What Scoop You Used And How It Was Mounted, I Plan On Doing This To My 1.5

Re:My Collection: MK1, MK1.5, SW20, ZZW30 (Tree)

Nice collection dude. A bit sad the MR-S wasn't made to look just a bit better. Still, after hearing about the handling praises I might get pulled in to buy one of those suckers eventually hehe
Re:My Collection: MK1, MK1.5, SW20, ZZW30 (ZIELINSKI)

Hmm the NA MK1 has atm standard struts and springs so its floaty and old.

The SW20 has Kmac springs and stock struts the springs where VERY stiff and probley alittle to low for daily driving.

The MK1.5 had Koni adjustables and lowered springs

And the Spyder had Tein S-Techs on stock struts.

The best handling one by far would have been the Spyder. With the Traction Control and ASC I could throw it around like crazy amd never once did I feel it was beyond catching.

But best to drive would be the NA mk1.

Its just so rewarding going for alittle squirt along say wisemans ferry road etc.

Id definatly get another Spyder but maybe a proper manual one. As much as i loved the SMT the lack of clutch pedal and the feeling of a delay between gear changes (although it was probley no slower then a normal gear shift in a manual) was a bit of a bummer.

Hmm that doesnt really answrr your question :/

I mean its alittke hard because they were all better in the own way. :)

Re:My Collection: MK1, MK1.5, SW20, ZZW30 (Soaren1)

This reminds me of my collection but I have hoarded far more. Can you explain the differences in handling between the 3 diff mr2s.

What handles best?

Re:My Collection: MK1, MK1.5, SW20, ZZW30 (ZIELINSKI)

She missed out :)

Haha

Re:My Collection: MK1, MK1.5, SW20, ZZW30 (MR2QIK)

When I had my AW11 & SW20 together, I toyed with the idea of buying my Wife a Spyder. Would have been alittle better with an actual manual instead of the smt. It always was in thw back of my mind thinking I hope this smt doesnt die lol as I hear they are stupidly expensive to fix.

Re:My Collection: MK1, MK1.5, SW20, ZZW30 (MR2QIK)

I'm yet to own a Spyder, but doubt that I ever will.
