(Tree)

How long are you planning on keeping this engine? If not long I would suggest save up for the Beams/tubby or V6. Also use that money for the trackday that's coming up :D
Just my 2c
Re:Injectors, bored fuel rail etc need some guidance. (just_ace)

The na fuel rail has a big enough bore. It's not tiny or inhibited like the gen2 turbo.

Re:Injectors, bored fuel rail etc need some guidance. (Mrskylighter)

I think what he's saying is the stock fuel system will be fine. No need to change anything.
The SAFC won't make the na engine generate a heap more power so stock fueling will be more than enough.
Re:Injectors, bored fuel rail etc need some guidance. (just_ace)

see my post in scotts thread, the gen2 44occ inj's won't fit your NA rail.

the NA has top feed inj's, the rail doesn't need to be bored out like the gen2 turbo.

your stock inj's are about 300cc, the beams inj's are about the same size. are you excpecting to make the same power as a beams 3sge? unless you've swapped in aftermarket cams and increaed the CR i don't think you need to worry about upgrading your inj's.
Injectors, bored fuel rail etc need some guidance. (Gatesys SW20)

Hey guys
Working on gathering some parts to have a dyno/tune done using an apexi safc
I have the tuner sorted (partners uncle) although he has experience with haltecs he is going to by far cheapest and he does know a thing or two about 3sge I'm sure this tune will give him no issues at all it's kind of a no brainer.

My question is
I have gathered a set of 440cc injectors from a gen 2 turbo and going to have them flow tested (thanks Scott)

Now I'm planing on having th fuel rail bored and a new fpr installed
Will I need an upgraded fuel pump or will stock be fine?

Also does anybody know a good honest engineer to bore my rail that's decent on price around Newcastle area?

My current mods are cai, hi flo cat, 2.5 inch exhaust. About to install a mildly ported intake manifold once it arrives (thanks 3sgeturbo), rebuilt head oh and a afr gauge and wideband lc1 sensor
Car is running very well very good comp etc.

That's it at this stage

If anyone can give me some guidance in this I would be very appreciative btw the engine is a gen 2 Na

Tried doing research but all I find is American threads related to the 5s

Thanks Ethan.
