(Reddtarga)

From the look of the pic that unit looks like some I have seen advertised for non ABS cars.

I have a stopper on my '90 model na with ABS, and it actually does slightly firm up the pedal.
That's only reason that I know for fitting one.

When I originally looked at getting one, it appeared that most available did not fit ABS cars, so I made my own.
A fairly easy job with no need to drill any holes etc, and wasn't too hard to clear all the ABS pipes.
It mounts in 3 places. On the 2 side bolts that hold the ABS mounting bracket, and a stay out to the side on the wheel well.

Re:Master cylinder stopper no fit?? (MRTurbo)

Mrskyligher - from that photo, that one looks like it is much further away from the M/C than where it appears mine should go. All the ABS crap on mine doesnt make it easier.

dyl - can't see why its useless, not with tyres like mine I hardly ever get it 'kicking in' even under very hard braking.

I just emailed the seller, waiting to hear back.
Re:Master cylinder stopper no fit?? (MRTurbo)

hey guys I bought a master cylinder stopper off ebay and tried to fit it last night and it doesn't seem to line up with any existing mounting points and doesn't seem to be anywhere near the back of the M/C. I asked them if it fits cars with ABS and they said "should fit". Anyone know where it bolts to in an ABS turbo SW20?? because I'm stumped!! pic attached of what I have.

Cheers.
