I coulda set you up with full rear springs and shocks that I just took out of mine fronts are gone the rears I still have in good condition

Too wide at the bottom and too narrow at the top? They're upside down ;)
Seriously though, they are the same width over their entire length. Got a set in front of me.

i don't recall the rear springs being conical...

I'm in the process of getting a 1990 MR2 SW20 3SGTE import roadworthy and one of the things that need attention is the springs.

I've ordered a stock set of springs from Road and Track, the fronts fit fine but the rears for whatever reason are too wide at the bottom and too narrow at the top. Is this something anyone has come across before or have I maybe received the wrong springs? Do springs warp like this? The old springs I took out are straight up and down.
