my personal preference would be to have a ct20b, but i prob wouldn't bother with the hassle of swapping turbo's if i already had a hiflow'd item.

theoretically your hiflow should be in better overall condition being rebuilt, than an old std ct20b

it would definitely start making boost well before 4000rpm, but would hit hard at 4000, boost would be a gradual increase till then.

That is a T04E considering its the same as before the engine replacement. I don't have a tacho but it sounds like it kicks in around 3000rpm until 6000rpm or even less.

really depends on what comp wheel is in there.

power wise generally they don't make more when on an unopened gen2 with bolt on mods etc, but the ct20b is more responsive which is what you want for the std gen2 imho, as the cams choke the top end.

i had a TO4E hiflow, didn't get on song till 4000rpm.

Could tell difference quite easily.. Awesome that saves me some money on an upgrade. Would that be much better then a CT20 though?
