The flashing lights are for the pedestrian crossing.

Well, as long as its daylight over there you are pretty much guaranteed to see people mimicking the Beatles Abbey Road crossing (even though the crossing isn't in the same place apparently)

Funny, stuff, look out for insane scooter riders. Sound too.
