yes the 20v headers work well on my 4agze ,i cut the two hole in halfthen rewelded them in place , one thing you need is 4age 20v or 100kw starter motor ,as its on intake side .its smaller

So what work is needed to make the 20v headers work on a 4agze? Is it just re-drilling a couple holes?

you know you can use a set of 4age 20v headers with a little bit of work./ .im using a set on 4agze and they work great .

In reality I cant see you having much change from $800 if you were to have some headers custom made. I watched a set of TRD headers go for $1000+ second hand and found that price laughable. People will pay anything for brand names. The best set of headers I brought for a 4age was a set of OBX 304 stainless headers from an ebay store in the USA.They were just over $400 landed and worked brilliant, they had very long secondaries and improved low rpm torque and response on my otherwise stock smallport motor. Only problem was they ended up being expensive as i needed to have the bottom pipe modified to suit the rhd installation. Here's a link for anyone interested.

The cheap option is to go 20V extractors. They are a simple, mandrel bend, two piece 4-2-1 design and is significantly lighter then the 16V cast iron jobbies. I've seen them go for as low as $50 for the primaries, and most people just buy the SVT secondary pipes to bolt on them.

If your going to spend $500, might as well get some real ones designed up and tuned to suit your requirements. I find it laugh able that a lot of these places advertise them as 'tuned length' but never state what length or RPM they are tuned too " />

Im positive they will fit the gze, its the 20v 4age that are slightly off... But im hapy for some one to correct me, but as far as i know, all 16v exhuast ports are the same, again, im hapy for somone to corect me if im wrong...

The stock ones are good, but they are allso so fckn heavy!! So u save wieght too... Thanks to na/sdub to shedding some light as im looking at the 4-1s for me...

I brought the the ones in the second ebay link direct from Ringwood performance exhaust. They're all good now but don't assume they'll bolt straight up. You'll need to block off the o2 sensor port as the sensor is usually mounted further back than where the provision is on the headers. There is also no flange on the bottom end so you'll need to have one welded on. The pipes come close to your starter motor and oil filter hub so it would be in your best interest to heat wrap them before fitting them. I cleaned the welds up with a die grinder inside the ports as they were a bit nasty too. Overall they're reasonable for the price. There's nothing really wrong with the factory manifold other than the fact that they crack. I was supprised recently to see a non restored group a ae86 still running the stock manifold even though they were making 280 hp or there abouts at the time. Those were the rules back then.

Oh man, how I have I never seen these on ebay! Does anyone definitively know if these work as well for a ze? Are they all the same or not? Everytime I try and look up info I find conflicting info...

Im assuming its for an aw11??? If so, im led to believe thers no difference, they point the same way... Also, i bought mine from my local exhuast shop... Depends on how much u want to spend, im looking at these

Hey all, I'm looking for some 4age extractors and I am wondering if they are any different to FWD extractors! Or if anyone knows where to buy a set I'm all ears!
