i actually like the yellow sides, i did have leds in there but i much prefer the stock look. they work so good at night even though they are a us housing, you just have to adjust it right, you only lose a tiny bit off to the side of the road, but being so bright it doesnt matter at all. i will say the morimoto ballasts makes it a way better kit, they cost me an extra $100 but are worth it. there is pretty much nothing quality aftermarket ballast for sale(with AMP plugs). i also learnt that Phillips do not make a HID kit with the "AMP" style plugs, so if u see one for sale its a fake.

the stock one with the kit were "XENTEC" ballasts, stay away from them at all costs, just google you will see.

mine were posted a few days ago, should have them this week sometime. ill update this when i get them, but i think they are 100% waterproof housing so in order to change the globe you will have to break that seal and reseal it but im not 100% certain. also i moved all my pics on photobucket around.. worst thing ive done. lost all my pics on all my threads and cant remember which go where. so thats why the pics are gone from my posts.

thanks guys, if i didn't want them so much i wouldn't bother either but there aren't many kits out there and at a good price, wish it were different. ill post pics in this thread and in my build once i have them in. cheers

Hey JDM_GT, Thanks for all the effort you went in trying to set up a group buy.

I'm still keen to see what they look like when you get them and how they fit, so if you could post up pictures that would be great!

its all i the link, US$279 + US$100 postage, still cheaper than a low rise quad setup. i will get some postage cost back when he sends it.

i bought a set today, not as cheap as he said before but i really like the design, i also email him and he said he will refund the difference in postage because it should be cheaper than the $100 it automatically charges. its still up if you want a set dont know for how long, still a decent price for what they are but not perfect for Australian conditions, if its your daily drive then prob not for you.
