Thanks for that Dylan, will definately be up for some runs in the Adub, just need to get my brakes sorted... front left is locking really easily, so I don't want to push it too hard until I sort it.

No worries. Just make sure the ones on ebay look like to ones pictured in my links. The one I listed is specifically designed for permanent mounting and is vibration proof etc. (Assuming thats what you want)
Also double check the voltage as a 24V one is also available.

Jay, here are the details of the permanently connected battery conditioner I used in my old SW20. Kept my battery like new. http://www.master-instruments.com.au/products/59148/BFP012.html

Good investment if you don't drive the car much.

I made a brief appearance at top ryde. Forgot I double booked...

The Sdub wouldn't have come out anyway, there's some slight niggles i'm trying to get sorted out! Might do it on the weekend actually!

I brought ur Gorilla Industries T-shirt and speedo sender last night hoping you'd make top ryde. Oh well. we'll tee a time up when the hub rings arrive.

Stuart, these meets are generally meet and feed with maybe a short run inbetween.

The MR2 Club of NSW has more substantial runs so you should consider joining that!

Only just saw this :S

I was there at Bray's reserve tonight with a few mini people, the mini meet up is unfortunately on the same night each month as the MR2 meet, but I'll try and make it to the next one in my Adub. Some verrry nice Adubs there tonight, who owns the SC two-tone? bloody beautiful. The paint job on the red AW looked immaculate too.

Is there usually a drive anywhere on the monthly meet ups? or is it more of a talk and feed type thing? I haven't really been an active part of the MR2 community unfortunately, hopefully I'll have a bit more time in the future to change that :)

I know what you mean Tom. If not for the friends I've made through the MR2 community, I would have been far less satisfied with my move from the Central Coast to Sydney!

With all due respect to Bud and the founding members of this event from this forum, this event has been organised by Greg from www.mr2forum.org for some time now, and so they do deserve the recognition for organising.

Like when JDMST organises a meet or any other motoring related body their events are mentioned as JDMST events, I think its only fair that this is known as the mr2forum.org meet, seeing as Greg does choose locations, decide the runs to go on, make bookings, pick up pizzas etc so I don't feel its fair not to give the organisers credit, despite what the beef may have been in the past.
