From what I have seen - you should be able to buy the bracket that is bolted to the rear firewall and should screw straight the 'vertical centre console' into that.

Hey guys,

I have a '96 SW20 without that awesome vertical center console. I'm looking at purchasing a vertical center console, to add additional awesomeness to my vehicle.

Does anyone know if I can simple get a vertical center console, like this one:

And bolt it onto my non-vertical-center-consolerised center console?

Or do I have to replace the whole middle assembly?

Long shot, but any ideas or experience in this area would be appreciated!
