NAAA.. I was down in Tassie... i went past winton the day after you guys fininshed up there :-(

would like to... haven't had the opportunity to so far (always breaking something on the car or it hasn't worked out timing wise)... I'm going to try and make it to PI for a day as its a nice open sort of track from what i saw at the motoGP... plenty of space for 200+ down the main straight :-).... but it will just depend how im going for time and work commitments :-(

would prefer a day on an "open" track where we can wind the cars out a bit.... haunted hills is an awesome technical track but it's not ideal for bigger turbo SW20's.

You should come run in some of the sprint days. Phillip island has a round comming up I think. Do you run in any "open" track events?

only numbers to indicate true performance are 1/4 mile times.
there are still too many variables on the dyno to compare one car to another.

Many years ago, we had a mr2 vs supra 1/4 day.
our poor ct20b 200kw mr2 gave all the 300kw+ supra an embarrassing lesson.

Dyno are great at adjusting your timing maps and cam adjustments.

Maybe sometime next year we should run a 1/4 drag day. Be interesting to see how some of the cars and drivers perform. Thats if anyone would be interested in finding out how their cars actual performance is.

Tree, your BEAMS pulled over 17kw more than my Gen2, where my max power was in a band from 5.8k to 6.8k RPM, but I have an aftermarket exhaust that may have added a couple of extra kw.
I also noticed that Steve's Gen3 Bathurst only pulled 1.6kw more than my '90 model ADM Gen2.

It was interesting to compare the different cars and ponder over the results, but keep in mind that there are probably some other variables that we don't know about.

I was actually just about to transition into a head-spin > notice the guy staring at me to the left lmao "this kent for real?" and the guy to the far right "this should be good..." sarcastically.
Also Red I'm curious to see your graph as well to see how my old engine would have performed.

Here is the graph from my NSX. They are 188kw and this is a 4 speed auto. The drop is hitting the speed limiter in 3rd then ran it in 4th.
It's a 1991 with only intake and cat back exhaust.
