I have switched out the indicator housings and bought some new custom mats from MatCraft. They are a beautiful fit and look great! Sorry for the poor photos, just a quick snap today.

Big news though! I have some new suspension! Bilstein inserts with Eibach lowering springs and front sway bar drop links. Should see them any day now and then I'll post up the progress of putting them in!

Re:New MR2 in Brisbane (GrahamHeadley)

Just did a little amateur photo shoot down at my local shopping center with a friend. I love the original red of the Australian sw20's
Re:New MR2 in Brisbane (Joel)

purple5ive

wow so clean i can eat of that car.
i would get some viny/leather trim rejuvinator stuff and apply on th centre console and dashpadm, you will be stunned how big a difference it makes even when you think it looks great.
add a late model lip and car will still look stock but better.

and almost every targa top sw20 leaks. thats just the nature of the beast lol

cheers

Agreed. Get some Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care works brilliant without making surfaces slippery.
Re:New MR2 in Brisbane (tralfaz)

Graham,
welcome to a group of very discerning people who recognise that the MR2 in all it's shapes, sizes and colours is without doubt the best car of its type on the road.
Your SW20 looks fantastic and obviously a top buy. The interior is really a credit to whomever owned the car previously.
Having both original and modded cars in the Club always allows a great comparison on what can be done with Toyota's excellent engineering.
Personally I have also stuck with the "keep it original" theme, but I am sure you will be surprised with what some of our members have achieved with their rides.
What is more important though is that we certainly have fun with the cars, and this isn't a Club that only drives short distances on our Runs.
We all look forward to meeting you on our next outing, which is coming up soon.
Regards,
Walter

Re:New MR2 in Brisbane (MR2QIK)

Clean car mate. Looks to have been well loved. I'm glad you will be keeping it close to stock with minimal mods. Stoked to have it and in such good condition! The previous owner lived in Yeppoon and moved down here before selling it. Its been resprayed only a couple of months ago and the interior is immaculate! Can't wait to head out and get to know some you other MR2 boys/girls and hopefully come out on some cruises.

At the moment, there is no plans for modification. I am striving to keep this one close to stock in the engine department. I think that because there are so few now that have not been modified, it's kind is getting rare to find and I want to keep it that way!

Few things I need to fix:
Respray the rims back to life. They are little old looking.
New head-unit and speakers as they are woeful at the moment

Hope you guys enjoy!

Graham
