I did basically the same route again on Saturday night for a roof off jaunt through the hills - very enjoyable. Definitely a regular thing given how close it is to home.

Good run and the weather was meh, but that didn't stop us.

Great idea for a run Shaun, everyone loves the Dandys and will be even better when the weather gets better.

Many thanks Shaun for organising a great event with a difference. Sorry I couldn't make the cruise. TRD2000, one of the suggestions on Friday night was to try a spray bottle of water to try to see exactly where the water causes the problem. Directed in specific locations you should be able to see what component gets wet and cuts the engine.

lol theres something up with the ignition system... well 99% sure its the ignition system. when it rains or water spray goes through the engine bay it proptly cuts out lol. when its going it goes pretty well though lol... aside from the flames and smoke ;-)

Took me awhile to find the meeting spot but I had a pretty good time, was great to meet new people and big thanks to the organisers!
TRD2000 what's wrong with your car (or what isn't wrong? haha jks)?

Yeah well done Shaun.
A fun night even with the occasional bit of rain, and definitely different to what we generally do.
And amazingly my targa tops still don't seem to leak.

Even with the wet weather is was a great run. 8 cars at the start, 7 for the drive. A couple of stops to look at the view. One at the top. More cloud than view. The second time to assist a little engine that thought it could (unstoppable force meets immovable object). Made for a fun night. Well done Shaun.

of course targa top leaks... but worse... engine DIES.

its looking ok... if its too dodgy i'll come out on the bike just to say g'day :)

all of which aside.... i'm dreading getting my car out again cause the lady next door keeps hitting it. last run there were 5 new paint chips down to the metal in my back left guard.
