Sorry to hear about the crash, good to hear you are all OKthough.
Nice platform car too! I'm sure you make a beast out of it too.

Sent from my SM-A515F using Tapatalk

Re: (stuka)

For years I used to work in a tiny garage with crap everywhere and I swore if I ever had a decent garage I would keep it schmick, so far so good!
Re: (Admin)

The car looks great though I have a problem with your garage. There isn't enough crap in it!! Lolz 😜
It's much more tidy than mine!

Re: (stuka)

Last month I had a big crash at Baskerville raceway. The chassis is bent and Im not going to straighten it. As a result I have sourced a nice straight hardtop and Im starting with a clean slate. The car is totally stripped and the roll cage will be installed in September. Looking forward to creating this monster!
Re: (B24)

Congratulations on the great result. The domain hill climb is just on the edge of the Hobart CBD and is very popular. The whole day was fascinating with some 'David and Goliath' duels between 2WD and 4WD cars. I finished 2nd in class and 4th outright against some serious sets ups, I was also awarded driver of the day and was really humbled by that. The car ran exceptionally well, on the day I learned more about my own and the cars capabilities than any event before, together we pushed and improved throughout the day. What a blast!

Interesting reading above in regard to turbos, thanks Nathan and Glenn. Im looking into my options at the moment and will post up some options for opinions.
Re: (Admin)

MCT_MR2
GCG high flow ct26's with gtx3071r internals from memory. Just make sure you tell them to upsize the flapper or at the very least port the wastegate opening, as if you dont tell them, they dont do it and it boost creeps like nothing else.

They did the flapper upgrade for mine though it still crept. I had to port the wastegate myself and now it no longer creeps.
Photos of what I did are in my build thread

Re: (MCT_MR2)

GCG high flow ct26's with gtx3071r internals from memory. I wish there was something that could be done. It seems like they're taking advantage of your good nature...

Nah, the bosses are good. And I kinda understand the accountant/office manager's position. Hopefully her husband comes through all ok.
Looking at the positives, I'll be able to cash in some annual leave, so will be better off financially.
