We Need Your Vote!!

When the Run Calendar was set up at the start of this year it was proposed that we have a joint NSW/Qld activity in Coffs Harbour on one of the Queen's Birthday weekend holidays (Qld has two in 2012 as part of the changeover to a long weekend for October). Originally the thinking was around the long weekend in July, but after discussions with NSW this was changed to October.

Unfortunately the NSW folks have now also pulled out of the October activity, so an alternative was discussed of having our own Qld weekend away on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th of October in the Stanthorpe area. There are some great roads around Stanthorpe plus good spots to visit, and its an area we normally can't get to in just one day.

As you will appreciate these two day activities take a lot more organising than a day run, so to be practical before any firm plans are made we would like to seek your views on whether or not you would participate in the weekend as planned. We are therefore starting this Roll Call for the 27th and 28th of October to gauge interest. Reasonably priced accommodation in the local area will be found plus local runs set up

To make the weekend work we need at least five cars and we will need to finalise numbers via this roll call on the 30th of September . There may be some leeway with additional numbers if these eventuate after the 30th of September, but five cars is the minimum we have to get by 30 September to make this worthwile.

If there is insufficient interest then we will just have a day run in October but we hope that something like this could become a regular thing in the year that the Nationals are not held. Please help out and record your name and number of people below if you would like to get away for a well organised weekend.
