Yeah, a lot of fun getting lost ha ha.
Apart from the run organizer Robert with his Spyder, a total of twelve other people turned up in seven SW20's and one FT86.

Which way do we go ????

It WAS a heap of FUN!!!! Great roads, some I've never driven before. I might do it again this time without looking for Answers to Questions. I reckon around those hills of Mernda, Doreen, Hurstbridge, St Andrews to Yarra Glen would have to be some of the best roads around (that are close to Melbourne). Great Observation Run many thanks to Robert L. for organinsing another fantastic MR2 VIC Club event.

and the questions are all in order as you travel the route.

So it is best if you look at least 2 questions ahead, just in case you miss one.

This is an 'Observation run'.
You are given an instruction sheet with questions and a map before you leave.
You find the answers to the questions as you follow the map route.
Some of the questions are cryptic, so not as easy as you may think.
Everyone meets up at the end, and the one who gets the most answers right wins.
It's not a race, so no prizes for the fastest car.

Easier if you have a passenger, but can be done alone.

Hmm so how does it work? Questions at some marked point on the pre-routed map and we just come up with answers?

The next Vic MR2 Club event
Observation Run Sunday 26 August
Meeting place Maccas.
Cnr of Springvale Rd and Maroondah Hwy Nunawading.
              (Melways map 48 F9)
Start time 9.30 am for a staggered start.

This will be an observation run of approx. 100 kms in length and 12 questions.
As usual non club member mr2 owners are also welcome to join us.
This type of event can be great fun but for people wanting to participate, it would greatly assist the organizer if you could please RSVP to:   events@mr2club.com.au

The questions are typically easy, cryptic things like “what is the doctor’s phone number next to the pub?”. And that is NOT one of the questions!
Starting at the Maccas junction of Springvale Road and Maroondah Hwy, you will be sent off in about 5 minute intervals.
The route will be printed out with all turns and corners courtesy of Google!
Answers are worth a maximum of 10 points each and will be awarded at the adjudicators discretion.

NO points for fastest car!
No points for bent cars!

The finish will be at a café - restaurant in Yarra Glen.
