hey mate nice 2! love it in the yellow, my auntie lives in warnambool i feel for you driving on the roads round there in the mr2. god there horrible especially between mortlake and ballarat.

but nice and close to the ocean road, you gone the back way to apollo bay? up through the hills through forest?? awesome bit of road made for the MR2.

Yeah I spent the last 4 years getting my two the way I want it, and after two resprays and 5 different motor builds im still going ha ha.

I was really keen on buying it but the guy who I spoke to who said he was selling onbehalf of his partner and he sounded a bit dodgy,

Also I think I still have the oridginal pictures of your car from when it first went on ebay 4 years ago.

The wood inserts were just stickers, that was first to come off. Did you see the car in person?
They had a few other things like a huge Explicit sticker on the front that had to go. I brought everything back to a clean stock car and now doing my own changes to it. It had a really nice stainless exhaust on it though.
The clear coat has a sparkle in it and was applied wrong i think, when I bought it the clear was peeling on the bonnet. The rest of the car seems fine but every time I wash it more comes off the bonnet. I will paint it one day when I'm out of uni. No idea what colour, but in the mean time I purchased a role of carbon fibre wrap so I might wrap the whole car to see if i like black.

Ahh ha, this was the first MR2 I was going to buy, I remember it even had wood grain inserts.

I ended up buying a red N/A in 2008 aswell that was a lot cheaper and in great condition, until 1 month later when all the paint faded because the dodgy polish wore off, and then I ended up paining my MR2 yellow anyway ha ha.

I actually did regret not buying your car from the previous owner, maybe thats why I sprayed mine yellow, which I am bored of and now going black " />

Yeah it did. That was a long time ago. I didn't buy it with them. Do you know much about the car?
Wasn't in the best of nic which made it a good buy for me in the end.

the drive from apollo bay through the otway national park is pretty awesome too... not so much the view but the road. anything before Lorne on great ocean rd is packed with caravans.... and the back way down over the hills is great so why bother with grey nomads going round corners on the wrong side while they stare at the view...

Yeah many great corners, especially around lavers hill and that, the MR2 loves it haha. I'm usually starting from the Warrnambool end so I dont go past lorne much. Many great stops along there, starting at the twelve apostles going to warrnambool the look outs get better and better, london bridge, bay of islands, my favourite is childers cove, than whale watching at the end at the right time of year.

Yeah the cars get older everytime, grungier maybe lol, but that hq was amazing!
Girl to stay, thats the trick haha, I didn't put in it but while I was in Korea I found this girl to stay lol, but she's from sweden haha, just my luck ay, we decided against long distance, but she is a reason why I'm wondering whether to buy new pistons or travel lol.
Country life is great, milking cows to pay for fuel, baling hay to buy tyres, it doesn't get much simpler haha. next time there is a great ocean road run maybe we can plan an overnighter in Warrnambool.
How about I do a thread for my experiences in Japan and Korea and you get pics of plenty of girls haha! Plenty of car pics too
