If anyone sees this in time, a few of us are heading out for a hills drive at 4:45 this afternoon and heading to Hahndorf for food. Hoping to catch up with Dennis and his targa crew at The Goody at around 8pm :) Meeting at the 'On The Run' gas station at the foot of the freeway at 4:30 :)

How about if the weather holds, an evening hills run on Wednesday afternoon? Starting around 7pm? Maybe end at a pub somewhere?

so the plan up to now is we will use "MrTurbos" map to have a run through the Barrossa valley so Lyn can do some sampling of wine.
which day has not been decided. then another day for some more sightseeing / shopping(yawn).
maybe a run up the Montacute road (without Lyn, she is not into twisties), looks a nice bit of road.
Friday night out for dinner.
so if anyone wants to meet on Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday night send me a PM

friday night is probably not good for me. I think we are going for dinner with Lyn's friend and then Saturday morning big drive back to Melbourne.

we arrive on Monday late arvo and depart 1st thing saturday morning for Melbourne!
so if you can fit one in during that time frame I'm probably up for it!
I have to be back in Melbourne Saturday night as I am organising the MR2 club run on the sunday! its a trivia / observation cruise.

ps: don't tell the Vic crowd, but I am stapling the questionaires together now.

excellent "MRTurbo" just what I wanted. Lyn was looking at a winery tour and they started at $100 per person. and I am not that much into wine.
But I can drive she can drink, thats team work!

now just got to work how to carry the wine if she buys some. as you probably know there is not much storage in a spyder. unless we just leave the dirty clothes in the motel!" />

at this stage we have nothing planned, cept my wife has a friend over there but that would probably be dinner or drinks at night.

and I know there is Targa Adelaide on that week.

Hya my wife and i will be in Glenelg from 20th to 24th August and wondered if anyone could recomend a good road for a day drive?
maybe a couple of winery stops along the way. never been to Adelaide before so it will all be new.
