(Dudeman)

1982 VH Commo. 202. Long gone. I went to this car after driving my parents corolla. It used so much more fuel i actually crawled under it looking for the hole in the tank...
1970 LC Torana 4 cyl 1050cc of POWA (still own) This car taught me to respect the speed limit. Not the limit on the road signs, the one the car liked. (which was not fast)
1988 FJ73 MWB Landcruiser (12 years of joy. and obscene unleaded fuel sucking. This car had a 80 litre fuel tank, best run on highway was 550k. Worst in Sydney was 340k from memory. From 80 litres!!) Power and no glory. I hit a truck when i was doing at least 60kph. The bulbar was damaged, the land cruiser was not. Sad day when it sold.
1994 SW GT. Is for sale :( My first MR2, 98% original.
1990 SW GT Turbo. Is for sale. :( My second MR2. All toyota. (Mostly)
2000 SW GT n/s Is not for sale :) A totally original non modified car which shall never be modified.

Next car - Late model SW which shall be 2GR'd, flared, gauged, made mostest cool. (Mostest cool by my reckoning - prob makes it otherwise to other eyes!)

((Yes, I have owned two registered motorbikes. An Aprillia Pegaso 650. It was powerful like a great cat, but like a great cat, it would chuck a hissy fit when it rained. In the end I wanted to burn it. Then an BMW 1150 RT. Bigger engine than my 2nd car! Fantastic machine, ABS (which saved my life) Two stage heated handgrips, electric tilting windscreen))

Then I realised why my parents called motorbike riders 'temporary Australians' or what I now know them as, 'Organ donors'.

I go to crashes lots at work. The bad ones have moto riders in them, and they usually die horrible deaths. And its usually not their fault, but they were killed by someones else's stupidity. Because they were doing the right thing and it not being their fault didn't make them any less dead. I sold my motorbike. Speak to me and i'll do my best to get you in four wheels, not on two.
Re:Cars you've owned so far? (Treay81)

Some of you guys have had some seriously nice collections.

I have at times had up to 6 cars at a time, not always by choice but somewhat due to impatience. some of them as per below (no specific order just whatever i can remember)

- 1st ar = 1986 XF Falcon - 205 X Flow engine, Ripped engine out and put high flowed oval port head, redline manifold, extractors, Camtech speedway cam, 12 slotted mags and thought I was just awesome! haha.

- 1981 Toyota Hilux - Purchased with rusty tub and swapped it to a tray back, racing seats, lowered, 15X10/15X8 rims with the old bridgestone eager tyres. TO4 Air research turbo on the old carb fed donk with a backyard special manifold. regraphed distributer, SU carby, 5 speed supra gear box.

- 1973 Chevy Corvette - various engines over the years but final engine was a 350 chev ('010 block) stroked to 408ci. Flared the guards all round to accept the 18X8 and 18X10 rims with big offsets. lowered over Grandsport suspension package, resprayed in Sabre Kandy Pearl. looked awesome, silly car for a 19 yr old bloke to try building. ended up keeping it for 12 years.

- 2006 Subaru STI Liberty - Silver in colour, Stock standard. Auto trans. loved it to bits.

- BA XR8 - Slammed, 20's, Herrod Motorsport Engine, 6 speed, full leather, big stereo, silver in colour. awesome car, turned major heads and tanks to no traction and high horsepower made a great impromptu drift pig...

- BF XR8 ute, slammed, 19 inch G6E rims, hardtop, 6spd auto, leather engine had full zorst and a herrod SCT tune.

- VS Series 3 HSV - Exhaust, 18's, lowered then I done a fully sick reverse, upside down with a twist park and screwed it up. total write off. till then it had heaps done, Twin throttle body inlet, ECU remapped, HD Clutch, cold air intake, all thanks to my stupidity.

- HQ Holden ute - Fitted an RB30 straight 6, used VL Commodore Auto trans, didn't paint it, left it looking crap and just thrashed it.

- 1999 Ford F150 4x4 - Lifted, 33's, loud exhaust, DVD player, LED light bar, 3200kgs of awesome!!, driving that thing in Sydney I found people instantly giving me space to move and giving way regularly haha.

- SW20 NA - Red sold it to Gatesy.

Current cars:

- 1965 Ford Falcon Coupe - White, 302 windsor V8 stroked to 347ci built by Trick and Mansweto Racing, C4 auto trans, 9 inch diff, stock look granny spec with almost 600hp. Venetian in rear window, 12 slotter rims etc. love it.

- 2008 G6E Turbo, Lowered, 20 inch Koya's, Kumho KU31 rubber, SCT Tune, lowered - Greay / charcoal in colour with cream leather trim.

- 1990 SW20 Turbo, tan leather trim, red duco, had Professor SSR SP1 rims but they got stolen. Engine was rebuilt had a used crank balanced, linseed, crack tested, new H Beam rods, Forged JE pistons, head rebuilt, will be running stock turbo for now but might upgrade later.

1999 AU Falcon ute - Blue / faded, 302 windsor V8, extractors, zorst, 17's, LED driving light, toolboxes and stuff... just a ****ter for running about in till i get the MR2 back. (MR2 has been in shop since November so it made sense to buy a daily)

Future Purchase.... The highlights:

The best off-roader was the Daihatsu F50v, only mods were 2inch lift, big wheels and chunky front/rear bull bars. It was unstoppable except for, well, the ocean. I actually had a call from Port Authority asking me if I was aware that my car was submerged in a shipping channel!

The best Handling (on dry tarmac) was unequivocally the Fiat X1/9. This is the car that Toyota copied to make the AW11 MR2, the original "poor mans Ferrari". The X1/9 could take tight corners at obscene speeds with stability and no tyre squeal, on old standard suspension... A friend nearly wrote off his RX7 trying to follow my line. The only problem was epic rust, I could not weld at the time and gave up on it:

The coolest by far was the FSM Niki... 650cc air cooled, rear engine, rear drive, like a tiny VW Beetle. Incredibly slow, terrible brakes, but go-kart handling. You just got it up to speed (eventually), then weaved around obstacles. People used to stop and take photo's of themselves hugging my miniature car... You may be surprised but this is the one car I really regret selling:

The best bargain was an ST184 Celica which I bought for $120, drove the crap out of it for three years then sold it for $450.

Re:Cars you've owned so far?
